CANCELLATIONS
Trip cancellations are the responsibility of the rider and shall be made at least one (1) hour prior to the scheduled pickup time.
A late cancellation is defined as either: a cancellation made less than one (1) hour before the scheduled pickup time or as a cancellation made at the door or a refusal to board a vehicle that has arrived within the pickup window.
It is the policy of GRTA that paratransit passengers who establish a pattern or practice of excessive “No-shows” or “Late Cancellations” shall be subject to a suspension of service. While GRTA understands that riders may sometimes miss scheduled trips or be unable to cancel trips in a timely fashion for reasons beyond their control, it can have a negative impact on the provision of service to other passengers, as well as the costs of providing such services.
